I drew a lot of cartoons for posters and publications of various student organizations when I was studying at the University of East Asia, Macau. I never see my works again after I left home.
Recently I return to my "first love." I like cartoons for two reasons: freedom of extreme exaggeration and sense of humor. Many time the artist's intention is very hard to guess in other forms of art. On the contrary, in cartoons I can make a very clear and strong statement. That's why cartoons are suitable for promotion and illustrations. |
